While the LP560-4 is the ultimate Gallardo out there, ENCO Exclusive found a solution to make it even meaner. The most impressive work was made under the hood, where after serious power treatment, the 5,2 liter V10 engine delivers a total of 620 hp and a peak torque of 575 Nm.
On the exterior Enco added a 100% carbon fiber front bumper with three large gills on each side, two additional carbon fiber finish aerodynamic components, GT3 side skirts, ultra-lightweight boot cover, rear diffuser, wing mirrors and air vents in the boot lid finished in carbon fiber laminate.
Enco also added carbon fiber inserts on the steering wheel, center console and dashboard.
Packing a monstrous 1500 horsepowered-engine, this Lamborghini Gallardo “Race Version” is unlike any Gallardo you’ve ever seen in your lifetime.
Fine-tuned by Underground Racing for one of its clients, the twin-turbo Gallardo – called the TTG – is the personification of a monster on wheels. While 1500 horsepower is staggering enough, if you account for the drivetrain loss, the horsepower should spike up even more to around 1900 hp. Staggering, isn’t it?
After completing the modifications, Underground Racing gave Jonah – the owner of the car – the keys to the wheels – so he could give his new amped up baby a ride. The result? A sub-ten second time through a quarter mile at speeds of well over 160 mph. Unbelievable!
Here’s a video of the TGG being undergoing the modifications. Hear that monster roar!
If you want to watch car races, you can’t get any better than having two heavyweights slugging it out. In this video, the Ferrari 599 GTB F1 takes on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. It can’t get any more interesting than that.
Check out the video to see which Italian supercar took home the oh-so-important bragging rights.
It seems that the latest fun in Los Angeles is chasing cars with helicopter. A Lamborghini Gallardo and a Gallardo Spyder are being chased on the Pacific Coast highway. Why? Because they were bad guys!
This should not be an introduction to the aftermarket tuners Wheelsandmore, that is because if you are a Top Speed regular then you most certainly have heard about the Wheeladmore Audi R8 customized by the German tuner, and today they have gotten our attention once again with this special edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 called “YarroW”.
This wild Lamborghini wears a bright yellow paint job with a nice black stripe running down the middle as well as a set of their 6Sporz wheels measuring 20 inches in diameter and hide a racing derived coil over setup with adjustable rebound and compression dampening as well as a hydraulic lift that raises the front axel up by 1.77 inches and allows the slammed super car to easily enter or exit any steep inclines that it may encounter. Thanks to a special stainless steel exhaust system with a remote controlled valve, upgraded ECU and a carbon fiber air box; the 10 cylinder engine now makes a total of 620 HP, that’s up from the standard 560 HP offering, not to mention 580 lb-ft of torque. Wheelsandmore has once again shown us that a few simple thought out modifications can go a long way towards completely transforming the drop top Italian super car.
The exotic machines that come out of Lamborghini’s Italian workshop are automotive works of art, however it takes a German tuning shop to make it into the wild ride that it can be. While the Gallardo LP560-4 is a very impressive car from the factory, this LP560-4 GTV from IMSA is truly fantastic. We first heard about this modified Gallardo back in February but today IMSA is giving up all the juicy details about this white on gold super car.
The IMSA GTV Gallardo features new front and rear bumper with larger intakes and aerodynamic diffusers. A set of side skirts round out the ground effects package while a larger rear wing keeps the Gallardo planted at speed while the fender flares give it a bit more menacing stance. Under the skin is a height adjustable sports chassis that sets the body down nicely on the 20 inch lightweight alloys and also allows owners to easily enter steep ramps and clear curb stones. After all, you won’t want to worry about the small things in life when you are surrounded by carbon fiber, sitting in soft leather and grasping onto Alcantara. The LP560’s high revving V10 has already been tuned by Lamborghini over the standard model, so the 5% that IMSA found bringing output up to 590 HP is extremely impressive. While we may be suckers for the way a set of gold wheels sets off a white paint job, but there is truly something special about this GTV Gallardo from IMSA.
If you need any more convincing that the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is one of the meanest machines on the planet, then this video should put all your skepticisms to rest.
Listen to the roar of the modified V10 engine from exhaust tuners Larini and tell us that it doesn’t give you goose bumps. In itself, the Superleggera already comes with enough power to make our hairs rise, but to give it some added juice is, without exaggeration, ear-splitting and hair-rising.
A while ago Top Speed reported about the 1005 HP Lamborghini Gallardo Heffner Twin Turbo. The tuner has just announced that they are preparing a similar package for the lightweight LamborghiniGallardo Superleggera. With four digit power figures under the rear deck lid, the special edition super car will be able to fly from 0 to 60 MPH in only 2.8 seconds. The video above is simply more proof as to how much better the tuned Superleggera is over the exotic Italian automaker’s standard Gallardo super car.
Just when we thought the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Superleggera has been reduced to nothing more than a fantasy car, an actual, real-life Superleggera may have been found taking in a couple of laps at the Nurburgring by our friends over at Autogespot
Actually, we might need to rub our eyes repeatedly to know that this is indeed a Superleggera. In the event that this is indeed a Superleggera, seeing it raises a number of questions surrounding the status of this car. Where’s it been all this time? And what do expect from Lamborghini with this car down the road especially since they already decided to scrap it just a year ago?
In any case, those questions can be answered at another time. What’s important is the car looks to be back on track – in more ways than one.
If you recall, the Gallardo Superleggera was introduced just a year before the LP560-4 made the scene with the former created with a tad more horsepower than the traditional Gallardo’s but weighed considerably less, making it faster and more lightweight than any of the Gallardos roaming around the streets.
Two of the greatest supercars of all time lined up next to one another recently at GTboard’s super car shootout for some straight line acceleration trials. In the right lane we have the have the rear wheel drive turbocharged Porsche 911 GT2 and in the left lane is the 560 HP Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 who ends up hitting 200 MPH before it is all said and done, if you can make it to the end of the you will get a very nice surprise, a parade of super cars if you will!
