Next to the 2010 Agera, Koenigsegg also revealed a new special edition at the Geneva Motor Show. Limited to only one unit and built for a wealthy customer in Brazil, the CCXR Platinuss E100 (named after a Brazilian dealership) had to be customized so it could use bio-ethanol.
But despite the modifications the CCXR Platinuss E100 still develops 1018 hp. The customer also wanted a larger front splitter and the color has been custom painted.

Koenigsegg will surprise us with a new supercar next week at the Geneva Motor Show. Called "Agera" (that means "to act" in Swedish or "ageless" in Greek), the new supercar will be limited at 16-20 cars per year. The first orders will be taken at the Geneva Motor Show, while the first customers will receive their cars by the end of the year.
The Agera was built to celebrate the company’s 15th anniversary.
The Agera is powered by the same 4.7 liter V8 engine that delivers a total of 910hp at the 6850rpm-redline and a peak torque of 1100Nm at 5100rpm. The car weights only 2832lbs and sprints from0 to 62 mph in 3.1 seconds and to 124mph in 8.9 seconds. Top speed goes up to more than 245 mph.
The Agera features the latest in braking technology, incorporating an adjustable ABS system, 392x36 and 380x34 ventilated and drilled ceramic discs. Also a first in the automotive industry is the interior illumination: Ghost light. The illumination shines through the billet aluminium buttons and surfaces by way of invisible nanotubes, creating excellent
visibility of the symbols, as well as a very clean and stylish appearance, framed by an all-new carbon fbre centre console and tunnel assembly.

With only three units to be produced, the Koenigsegg Trevita is based on the Koenigsegg CCXR and adds new shimmering diamond carbon fiber finish. "Trevita" in Sweedish means "three whites".
The three cars are fully equipped with Koenigsegg Shimmering Diamond Weave bodywork, double carbon wing, paddle-shift, inconell exhaust system, carbon ceramic brakes with ABS, hydraulic lifting system, infotainment system, tyre monitoring system, chrono instrument cluster and airbags.
Under the hood Koenigsegg placed the same 1018bhp engine. Very special on this model is the exterior paint fully developed at Koenigsegg headquarters.

Lamborghini has the Estoque, Aston Martin the Rapide and now Koenigsegg has the NVL Quant. Unlike the competition, Koenigsegg is looking to have the Quant be all-electric. Like another low-volume supercar maker, SSC’s Aero EV, Koenigsegg has set up the Quant to hit high speeds and fast recharge times. The company claims that its four-door creation should be able to hit 170 mph or could run for as long as 310 miles on a twenty-minute charge.
Although it’s little more than a styling mockup right now, the NLV Quant is planned to have rear-wheel drive, with four-wheel brake regeneration, ABS and ESP. It is powered by two electrical AC induction electric motors with variable frequency drive and in-line planetary step down drive, one for each rear wheel. The twin-motor design eliminates the need for bevel gears or a differential, further simplifying the lay-out and giving constant and controlled power proportioning to the rear wheels, in both drive and coast mode.
It has a curb weight of 1780 kg and the two electrical motors deliver 512 hp and maximum torque of 715 nm which Koenigsegg says allows the Quant to deliver 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.2 seconds.

Rumors about a four-door model from Koenigsegg started to circulate last week. Today we bring you first TopSpeed rendering of the future sporty sedan that will make its official debut in 2010 as a concept model at the Geneva Motor Show and as a production model in 2011. The currently unnamed sedan will compete with models like Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera.
The four-door model is supposed to have been under development for the past two years and will be made entirely out of carbon fiber. Power should come from a V8 engine that will develop around 700 hp. This engine will help the car to hit a top speed of around 215 mph. The sedan will be limited to only 70-80 units and will be cheaper than the CCX.
Due to request from certain Koenigsegg Clients and Customers, Koenigsegg has created a Limited Edition version of it’s sought after cars. The Koenigsegg Edition comes in two limited versions, the CCX and CCXR models.

The Koenigsegg CCXR Special Edition is a Two-door, two-seater with removable hardtop stowable under the front hood lid. It is powered by a V8 cast aluminium, 4 valves per cylinder engine with a maximum output of 1018 Bhp. It can hit a top speed of +250 mph.

At Geneva Motor Show, Koenigsegg will unveil a new competitions on the sport coupe market: the CCGT (Competition Coupe GT). The CCgt is based on a production CC-model range. The CCGT complies with the ACO and FIA GT1 regulations.

Koenigsegg Breaks World Record for Production Cars. On February the 28th 2005, at 12.08 local time, the Koenigsegg CCR broke the production road car speed record, achieving a new official top speed of 242 mph at Italy’s Nardo Prototipo proving ground.
