The last customized SOUL Kia presented at the SEMA Show is the Gogogear SOUL. The car will be the official peace car at the 2010 US Touring Car Championship (USTCC) season.
"Building on our involvement in the GRAND-AM KONI Challenge Series and in an effort to introduce the Kia brand to even more racing fans, apparel maker GoGoGear.com has created a highly modified version of the popular Soul urban passenger vehicle which will serve as the official pace car at several races throughout the 2010 US Touring Car Championship (USTCC) season."
While the first customized SUV presented at SEMA Show was black, the second one features a baby blue exterior by Lux Motorwerks. The Antenna Soul features a matte brown painted roof, grill trim, side vents and custom exhaust and 20-inch wheels paired with Nitto Tires and a lowered suspension.
The Antenna Soul includes a pop-up "shop" of the latest trends in clothing and accessories from Original Penguin, Huff and etnies. Custom seats feature Cone Denim, bespoke stitching and Rufus shirt material, and a G-shock clock is mounted on the dash. Perforated leather and denim adorn the interior along with a RICTA skateboard wheel gear shift knob, leather-wrapped mounting holsters for personal electronics, a custom display case in the glove box for fashionable watches and stylish sunglasses, a refrigerator in the back seat and a skate board in the roof liner. Arrive in style - or even fashionably late - for any occasion in the Antenna Soul with clothing packed neatly in a motorized organizer in the trunk featuring exclusive apparel and accessories.
Kia came at the SEMA Show with a line-up of customized SOUL crossovers. The first of them is Black “Sinister” Soul created by BuBuck Wild Designs. The matte sinister black exterior paint job is combined with Spectral gray accents and black-out custom trim.
The SOUL’s ride has been lowered and placed on 20-inch black rims. Its dark appearance is being accentuated by smoked-out headlamps and tail lamps.
The Sinister SOUL features a 11-speaker 1,300-watt sound system, a pair of 12-inch single voice coil (SVC) subwoofers, driven separately by an 800-watt amplifier.
Hot off the release of the Kia Soul Samba, Kia’s UK Division is moving ahead with plans of releasing another limited edition Soul in November. Called the ‘Tempest’ the special edition Soul is the next-in-line to be released as part of Kia’s Original Collection.
The car, which will be sold for £12,845, comes with a 1.6-liter engine in either gas or diesel variants. Its Titanium Silver finish goes well with the black high-gloss bumper inserts, giving it a sleek and aggressive look. The black 18-inch alloy wheels also compliments the overall burnished effect of the Soul Tempest.
For a vehicle that comes with a pretty affordable price tag, the Tempest’s interior has also been upgraded to the brim. It has a black seat trim with metallic centre fascia that goes well with the overall theme of the car. The Tempest also has a reverse camera system with electrochromatic rear-view mirror and a fully-prepped sound system that has a dash-top speaker, an external amplifier, and a rear sub-woofer.
It goes without saying that a car that comes with a plethora of features and only sells for £12,845 is a downright good deal in every sense of the word.
The Toyota/Billabong Ultimate Venza Concept was created as the perfect the perfect active sports vehicle that you could take to the beach, lake, mountains, skate park or anywhere in between and have a blast. It will be the official Billabong Team vehicle for use by surf, snow, skate and wake athletes.
Based on a 2009 Toyota Venza crossover, the Ultimate concept includes an aggressive custom body kit that includes a unique Toyota/Billabong exterior paint design, fender flares, a custom roof rack that will accommodate surf, snow and wake boards, large Enkei wheels with Nitto tires and a Toyota Racing Development (TRD) big brake kit
On the interior there is a multi-media DVD head unit, iPod interface, head rest-mounted LCD monitors, 18 speakers and 2,200 watts of power.
Mitsubishi’s plans of releasing a new compact crossover in the UK next year took a bold step to fruition after the company released a design sketch of what the vehicle may look like.
Based on the 2007 Concept-cX show car, the still-to-be-named crossover features a number of design elements and styling touches that have become synonymous with Mitsubishi, including an adapted version of the jet fighter front end that Mitsubishi has been known to use in a lot of its vehicles.
Rumors have also propped up saying that the crossover vehicle will come in a variety of engines, including a clean diesel and petrol capacity, as well as a plug-in hybrid version. The choice of more eco-friendly engines is the latest indication that Mitsubishi may very well be shedding its reputation as a gas-guzzling 4x4 brand and shifting its vehicles to become more environment-friendly, similar to what a lot of its competitors have been doing recently.
The new crossover is scheduled to make its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show next March, a month after the car goes on sale in its homeland of Japan. As it stands, the crossover is in line to drop in UK dealerships towards the latter stages of 2010.

The ZDX is a midsize crossover that was designed to merge the emotional appeal of a sports coupe and all-season, all-surface versatility, the all-new ZDX breaks new barriers for Acura and for the luxury market. Its "Passionate Getaway" design honors the driver and passenger first, while also providing an impeccably finished luggage storage area that bests that of most luxury sedans. The rear seat area, with its abbreviated doors and door handles creatively integrated into the C-pillar, accommodates three additional passengers as required for occasional trips. But overall, the ZDX targets its mission as a 2-passenger personal escape vehicle with unmistakable Acura style. Under the hood, Acura will use a 3.7 Liter V6 that will put out 300 HP and 270 lb-ft of torque and will be mated to an all new 6 speed automatic transmission.
Jamiroquai front man Jay Kay is a consummate automotive consumer, and if his personal collection of super cars isn’t enough to convince you then just take the German luxury car builder Audi’s word for it because they put the singer behind the wheel of a new Audi Q5 crossover to see what he thinks of the new car. Jay Kay was particularly fond of the Q5’s aggressive exterior lines as well as the full length sunroof that opens up the interior as well as the spacious accommodations for up to six passengers and the ability to carry loads of cargo. The Japanese performance minded automaker Mitsubishi showed off a more aggressive crossover model back in New York earlier this year, however the EVO faced Outlander GT Prototype still manages to impress here in Miami.
