Ferrari 360 crashed on track

Ferrari 360 crashed on track

For most of us the car is the greatest love of our live. And we try to do everything to keep it "happy". This is the exact case with this Ferrari owner. But after taking taken meticulous care of his "baby", he decided to take it on the track.

While taking a curve at the Palm Beach International Speedway, he lost control and the car spun around 180 degrees. The rear end crashed into a wall, spun the car around and smashed again into the wall, this time damaging the front end.

The blue cover he put on the car’s front for protection didn’t do much in this case.

Just wondering what this guy will be thankful for today?

Lamborghini Murcielago crashed in Switzerland after illegal racing

Lamborghini Murcielago crashed in Switzerland after illegal racing

Reporting about two crashed Lamborghini in just one day it is simply too much for us. But this is what happens when young people and drinking interfere. This time the accident happened in Switzerland while the driver, under influence, was racing with his friends.

They were driving a Bugatti Veyron, Mercedes Mclaren SLR, Porsche Cayenne Turbo and the Lamborghini Murcielago that apparently was rented.

The driver of the Murcielago lost control of his supercar (apparently at 220 km/h) and hit the Volkswagen Golf in front of him. After the impact the Golf hit the guardrail and his 70 years old driver is in hospital in serious condition.

After the breath test it resulted that the Murcielago’s driver had a blood alcohol level of 0.11% (the legal limit is 0.05%).

Lamborghini Murcielago crashed in London

Lamborghini Murcielago crashed in London

The series of crashed Lamborghini continue. This time a Murcielago found its death in London on Park Lane. No one was injured in the accident, except for the supercar that suffered serious damages: the bonnet, front bumper and passenger’s door of the left-hand drive are almost destroyed and the passenger’s airbag activated.

There are no exact words on what really happened, but it seems that the driver was leaving an underground car park on Park Lane, and crunched into a kerb.

Video: Crazy Finns Crashing

The Finns may not be the most amiable people in the world, but few nationalities can come close to the level of success Finns have had in motorsports.

From Formula One champions to highly-successful youth karting and motorcycle programs, Finland has produced arguably the most talented and successful crop of racers over the years. One sport that has seen a lot of immensely talented and successful Finns is rally racing, with notable former champions like Tommi Makinen and Juha Jankkunen only two of the many Finnish rally car drivers that have made an impact on the sport.

It’s safe to say that it takes a certain level of guts and dedication to become a successful rally car driver and the Finns, for the most part, have both these qualities in abundance. Check out this video compilation of some of the most insane rally crashes that have happened in Finland alone. Don’t be surprised by the things you see in the video because for those crazy Finns, rally crashes are as much a part of their culture as high-tech mobile phones.

Audi R8 crashed

Audi R8 crashed

One unlucky Audi R8 owning Californian learned what it feels like to be a piece of meat in when he unexpectedly taken from behind by a BMW 6 Series and sandwiched between it and a much larger (and heavier) Range Rover SUV. Unfortunately for the four ringed super car driver his dream car now looks like it was chewed up and spat out like a rotten piece of salami. The good part is that the Audi’s aluminum skin took the brunt of the impact and everyone inside was fine, however the worst part is that the R8’s aluminum skin too the brunt of the impact and even a slight fender bender looks like quite a bit of damage.

On the upside, if the red R8 owner’s insurance is any good and the adjuster is a nice guy, this just might be the perfect excuse to upgrade his wheels to the new 5.2 Liter V10 powered aluminum super car. Honestly there is no excuse for 4.2 Liter FSI owners to trade in their perfectly good mid engine machines, if it is a bump in output that they are after then the aftermarket already has a plethora of forced induction options that makes the old car even more powerful than the new car and combined with the V8’s weight savings should make for a more nimble machine. That is if you aren’t provided with an opportunity like this guy. This is just another silver lining on a very ominous dark cloud, it just depends on how you look at it.

Aston Martin DB9 breaks tree in half

At some point, our threshold for seeing exotic car crashes is going to be snapped. But until that time, we just have to stomach them and move on. The latest victim of the lethal mix of bad driving and bad weather is an Aston Martin DB9. In this video shot in Warsaw, Poland, the DB9 was speeding along a wet road when it loses control before slamming into a tree, breaking it in half in the process.

The DB9 then spins a couple of times before resting to a stop with the fallen tree just a few feet away from the car. Imagine what would have happened if the impact of the crash forced the DB9 to stop and the tree falling on top of it. Despite the damage done to his ride, the driver was enormously lucky not to have been crushed under a tree trunk.

Video: Bugatti Veyron’s lagoon plunge caught on video

The earlier report we had of the man who drove his Bugatti Veyron into a lagoon has been made a little clearer after a video was taken of the accident by a civilian who happened to be in the area when the ‘accidental dive’ took place.

Also, according to the Galveston Daily News, the identity of the man behind the wheel of the Veyron was one Andy Lee House, a man who, ironically, owns Performance Auto Sales, a shop that specializes in restoring exotic cars.

We can’t argue against the irony in this story, other than the fact that, contrary to previous reports, there were no pelicans in sight during the whole ordeal.

Suffice to say, it was just a case of a driver going too fast for his – and his cars – own good. Fortunately, he won’t have too much trouble looking for a place that can piece his Veyron back in tip-top shape.

Video: Ferrari California does too much showboating in Bulgaria, ends up crashing into a bulldozer

We’ve all had our fair share of exotic crashes over the years and despite the stomach-churning sight of seeing these prized beauties burn, get mowed down, or get smashed into smithereens, we still can’t get enough.

Days after a Bugatti Veyron dove into a lake in Texas, we now go to Sofia, Bulgaria for an up-close look at a Ferrari California getting whacked not just by an oncoming car, but to make things worse, a bulldozer too.

In the video, two Ferrari Californias are whooping it up in the streets of Sofia, power sliding and showing off their muscles to anyone willing to take a glance. But after too much showboating, one of the cars overdoes his drift and catches an oncoming car side-on. The California bounces off the car and hits a bulldozer seconds later.

Needless to say, the lesson is very important in this crash. If you’re going to show-off your wheels, it’s always a good idea to still bear some semblance of caution. Otherwise, this is how your showboating is going to end up.

Say it ain’t so: Bugatti Veyron ends up in the middle of a lagoon

If you suddenly faint, vomit, or have heart palpitations after seeing this video, then we won’t blame you.

That’s a lake right there in the photo and a car that happens to be submerged right smack in the middle. Care to venture a guess as to what car that is?

If you don’t know, then allow us to be the bearer of bad news. That’s a Bugatti Veyron - all $1.6 million dollars of it.

You’re probably wondering how the hell it ended up in the middle of the lake so lt us recount the story for you. The driver of the Veyron was cruising along Galveston, Texas and was talking on his phone when a pelican – of all things! – flew low enough to distract the driver, sending him swerving into the side of the road before his tire hit a mud patch and all the way into the middle of the lagoon.

From what we’ve gathered, the said Veyron is one of only 15 in the entire United States so you can imagine the dismay all of us are feeling right now. If it wasn’t enough that a 1000 horsepower supercar takes a dive into a lagoon, it just had to be a pelican that caused the whole thing. The driver, of course, doesn’t escape blame too. How in God’s green earth can you be so reckless with a car that’s worth more than our entire bank accounts!

BMW M3 destroyed on the Nurburgring

BMW M3 destroyed on the Nurburgring

To most auto enthusiasts, the Nurburgring’s Nordschleife track is known as the Green Hell. Why you may be asking, because even if the stretch of pavement is only 21 kilometers long, the number of accidents that take place at the ’Ring are beyond your imagination, it is said that everyday the track is open for public use that at least one sports car owner walks away with a heap of scrap metal.

The latest victim of the Nordschleife is a BMW M3, and from the looks of things, the German sports coupe is a total loss. Believe it or not the M3 was being driven by an experienced pilot, but even for a knowledgeable Ringmeister negotiating all 100 corners of the Green Hell can be a bit tricky. The other problem with high speed lapping sessions around the Nurburgring is that you have lots of traffic to contend with. As a result, the M3 driver entered into a blind curve where he hit a Mini Cooper that was keeping a slower pace and ended both racing enthusiasts day. After the impact the BMW M3 caught fire and as you can see it is completely destroyed, not to mention that the Mini didn’t fare to well either.
