The Audi A3 Convertible is set to be launched at IAA 2007 in Frankfurt. It will be based on the A4 Convertible and the TT roadster. From the new roadster it will take the design of the doors.
The engine program covers first 2-litre four-cylinders with 150 and 200 HP and also two TDI engines with 140 and 170 HP. Also a more powerful version will debut later with S3’s engine that delivers 265 (...)
It is quite usually for Audi lately to have an open version for its the compact models. And the last example is the Roadster for the TT. The same treatment will have the A3: an open top version is expected to debut in 2008.
