The British tuner Autodelta will reveal this week at the MPH09 Prestige & Performance Car Show the limited edition Brera S 3.2 Compressore.
Thanks to a supercharging package with intercooler, the 3.2 V6 engine delivers a total output of 352 bhp (by comparison the Brera S delivers 260 bhp) and a peak torque of 435 Nm. The car is equipped with a bespoke mechanical limited slip differential (LSD), which operates in combination with the car’s standard electronic Q2 system.
At the customers request Autodelta is also offering a height-adjustable Autodelta Sportline coilover suspension that features specific new spring rates and 40 different firmness adjustment settings that can be quickly and conveniently adjusted by the driver.

The Italian automaker Alfa Romeo has just unveiled a new Brera special edition model limited to only 90 units and set to be offered exclusively in Europe, Japan and then Australia. Orders for the new "Italia Independent" Brera will begin in September and go on sale starting at €32,200 (about $45,000).
The Alfa Romeo Brera “Italia Independent” will be offered with a 185 HP 2.2 Liter JTS power plant or a 260 HP 3.2 Liter V6 engines, either way they will be shifted with a host of 6 speed gearboxes; depending on which piston pumper you choose the transmission may be a manual, Selespeed or an automatic Q-Tronic. The new Alfa is also available with the automaker’s sophisticated Q4 four wheel drive system which will be exclusive to the 3.2 Liter V6 version.
The Alfa Romeo Brera “Italia Independent” is the first standard-production car to offer a Titanium paint job. This exterior is further enhanced by a set of new stylish 18 inch multi-spoke rims that feature a turbine pattern; the rest of the outside is dressed up with some aluminum pieces like the fuel filler cap, bright red brake calipers and new "Italia Independent" logo on the Brera’s rear end.

Alfa Romeo will unveil at the Paris Auto Show the sporting TI (Turismo Internazionale) specification Brera that is due to go on sale in autumn 2008. The TI logo will be applied to the front wings and will initially be available with2.2 JTS (Manual and Selespeed) and 3.2 V6 engines and later also with other engines.
The Brera TI features: stiffer springs and dampers, 19-inch tires, alloy rims, inspired by the 8C Competizione, large brake discs and Brembo red one-piece front callipers with a radial attachment.
The special edition Brera is powered by a 185 bhp 2.2 JTS engine (an up-to-date power unit made entirely of aluminum and equipped with direct fuel injection.

Prodrive, a British motorsport company, revealed its latest creation, a new tuning kit for the Alfa Romeo Brera coupe, a project which has been developed for more than a year. The new kit features some minor styling changes, inside and out, and will be produced in a 500 limited edition, each of the cars individually numbered with unique Brera S labeling. You can choose to have power either from a 185hp 2.2 LJTS direct injection petrol engine or a 260hp 3.2L V6JTS.
The engineers also added specific Eibach coil springs and Bilstein dampers. Spring rates are increased by over 50 percent compared to the standard Alfa Brera, giving the car a more nimble and agile feel, while the specially tuned gas-filled mono-tube dampers give tighter body control. The suspension static geometry has also been revised to optimize steering and handling, and was lowered 10mm. These changes are combined with new 19in alloy wheels and Pirelli PZero Nero tires. For all the folks who don’t know, the Alfa Romeo Q-Tronic system is a very popular addition to the Alfa Romeo Spider V6 and Brera models since its introduction, back in 2006. Autodelta announced that the Q-Tronic 6-speed automatic transmission will also be available on its Brera J5 3.2 C conversion.
The Brera J5 3.2 C Q-Tronic comes with an increased power of 352 hp and 435 Nm of torque. With this amount of power the vehicle is capable to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds and has a top speed of over 260 km/h.

Its officially confirmed that a special edition of Alfa Romeo Brera is being produced for the UK market. Its creator, the British motorsport company, Prodrive, plans to show the modified car at the end of the month. During the last year Prodrive worked closely with Alfa Romeo, especially on the suspension and handling mods.
The new Alfa Romeo Brera “S” has been designed to build on the “existing model’s capabilities to deliver outstanding driver feedback and handling.” This will be a limited edition to only 500 cars and all of them will be differentiated by some exterior and interior details. Among other companies which worked with Prodrive there are names like Subaru and Aston Martin.
Autodelta is pleased to introduce the Autodelta Brera J5 3.2 Compressore ‘Model Year 2008’ (MY) which has been developed specifically for hot and tropical climate requirements and now incorporates an air-to-air intercooler mounted behind the front bumper.
